I lost my job in 2021 and was without one for some time. It got to the point that I was so confused about what to do and even got depressed. I didn’t know the next right step and felt neglected. But I also knew that most things happening to me resulted from my mistakes.
Mistakes in the sense that there were people that I was actually brilliant than and they were landing good jobs, friends that I was vocal than started up something. Some even took up initiatives and were moving forward.
I had a deep reflection, and I had to ask myself certain questions. I started reading books with so much focus I started paying keen attention to things. During this period, I discovered that those relationships I failed to keep when I was in school and thought weren’t important also contributed to my frustration. Back then, I had thought school was all about studying and getting good grades.
